On the hook
This is my first granny square. I'm going to make a big throw soon. Or at least start one gigantic granny square, it'll be the project between projects!
my new shoes
They're so new, they're actually still in the bag. I may not wear them until next year...I didn't even finish typing those few words when I thought...yeah right, I'll be wearing them tomorrow!
On the needles 30.10.05
This is what's on the needles this week.I'll have to showcase it when its done. I may call it...Always on the Run.
Felted Bracelet
The ring...started off as a bracelet but then I noticed everyone else was making one, so I changed it up into a ring. And then came, this creation. The colour choice wasn't the greated, but I've got the wool sausage. I'll be making more of these...and I must say, no one elses looked like this. I'm not sure if thats good or bad.
Felted Ring
Today I took my felting class, the class lasted about 30 min and the other 1.5 hours was create your own thing. But the highlight was the end when I ended up with my two felted pieces of jewelry and the roving grab at the end.

Where's Gromit?
Feathers is comforting Wallace in the absence of Gromit. Poor Wallace,he looks so distraught!
If I didn't...
If I didn't already have two other projects on the go (one with a bit of a deadline) I'd be felting tonight. I'll just have to wait and look at all my pretty wool. Thanks, Jude for the wool sausage, there are so many colours. I took a pic of the end to show all the wonderful colours, but alas, again I took another blurry shot! I'll do it again and we can play the "how many colours are there?" game! So for now, I'm just gonna post my pretty roving wool (not in sausage form).
Revised and Revisited
I had a big problem with the original Chinatown Red. So, I took it apart and made this scarf. AKA: Chinatown Red II
Memories of Las Vegas
These were the penny and nickel slots I played and won on. I'm such a high roller!
Scarves out West
When J said she took some pics of the scarves, I never thought they'd be so "artsy"...this is the first time someone has sent me a pic of them in the scarf, perhaps its because they knew I'd blog it! Telly's A Grouch and red.hot.sizzle look even better on these beauties, than on a table or park bench!

On the needles
This is what I'm currently knitting, I'm not sure how much I like it, but knowing me I'll knit two balls of it before I decide to pull it apart. How does it look so far??
Egg Felting Kit
I also got this kit, but I'm going to wait until I figure out how to needle felt before I make these! Plus Easter is a even further away than Christmas!!
This ain't no wool sausage!
I'm still waiting on my wool sausage from the Netherlands, a wonderful gift from my sister for Christmas, which I know is months away. So for now, I get to use my wonderful colour samples of wool from BC.
If only...
I could have a pair in every colour! I'm not sure I'm bold enough for the yellow pair. Check out the cute attachements you can get for them too at Jibbitz
I believe there is going to be some sort of Croc phenomenon, so you may as well personalize your pair before another Birk mishap*.
*Almost all my friends own a pair of two strap brown birks, and when we all gather, and the birkenstocks pile up, no one knows who's are who's!

Handspun Goodness
When I arrived at work today, I found that while I was on vacation, my yarn from South Africa arrived. It was described on ebay as Rainbow Coloured Handspun Dyed Wool Merino Yarn, search for yourself.
Correction
I previously posted this under "More Kaffe" its actually a quilt made from Amy Butler fabrics.

M & M World in Vegas
I've borrowed this pic from a flickr member who found a picture I posted of the baked goods he made at Jean Phillipe's at the Bellagio! What a small world.
My New Thread
More thread than I can use in my entire life, but look at all the pretty colours! Not to mention that thread I bought from ebay earlier this year. Seriously though, there were over 80 colours to choose from and when the price drops when you buy multiples, who can resist! (I can almost envision the comment I'm going to get for this one!)
