Bonbonnieres any one?
According to the introduction I got from my cousin's husband, apparently, I'm a Bonbonnieres. Note the kudo's I received for making the little gifts, on the back of the wedding program.
Congratulations!
Now that Tim and Jennifer are finally married, I can post the "give-away" item from their wedding reception.
This is one of the two vesions I created for them. I hope the bride and groom liked the bonbannieres!
Watch out for those bears on your honeymoon.

Fun, fun, FUN!
Man, this yarn is awesome. Its still one of my favourites! Handspun thick'n Thin wool. Just so pretty to look at! The only problem is that as soon as I knit a few inches of it, I come up with an even better idea, and pull it all apart. This particular version is probably the sixth one.
Ah HA!
Hopefully this picture shows Mint Julip much better. I'm still thinking of getting some kind of mannequin...and I'm sure I'll regret it the first time is scares the crap outta me in the middle of the night.

Mint Julip
This is a detailed pic of Mint Julip, I don't know why I can't get this to photograph very well. Could it be my shakey hands or digital camera? I'll never know...I'll have to wait until I get more light in the apartment, and take a better one for you.
SuniDee
Created from handspun/hand dyed wool, and Scheepjes-Alpine (75% wool, 25% acrylic, SuniDee will only be complete with a crochet* detail and some fringe.
*I just learned how to crochet last week! Featured photos, to come!
TOTALLY AWESOME
In the past year, I've tested out many knitting needles and found that these are my absolute favourite to work with. These Japanese bamboo needles (Clover:Takumi) are spectacular and my big sister won this auction off of ebay for me! She's so awesome! (So is my lil'sis!)

Summer Storm
On friday there was a major rain storm in Toronto, I made it most of the way home with out getting too wet, until I got off the street car and it was coming down like this! No umbrella can help the sideways rain!!!

More in the bowl
I couldn't get the last four skeins in the bowl, which by the way is a gorgeous woodturned salad bowl by a local artisan, Michael Sbrocca*. The previous post shows more of it, this one is about the yarn! I'm sure it will be featured in many of my future blogs, now that I've christened it as my Knitting Bowl.

More for the stash!
Armed with a couple hours to kill and my last gift certificate for Romni Wools I spent a wonderful afternoon looking at all the yarn and buying more for my stash!
Carnival Treats
I found this in my basket of yarn, under one of many stashes. I can't even remember when I started it, perhaps it was before the permanent heat and humidity set in for the summer. Carnival Treats will surface again, perhaps I'll finish it when the CNE is here.
In the bowl - no longer
I started this yesterday, and it was looking pretty good. But half way through, it definately wasn't turning out how I was invisioning it...so I took it apart...started again, with a whole new idea...and took it apart again. Yeeesh, I like the combo, I'm sure you'll see it again in the future. It if however, officially out of my knitting bowl for now.
Ruby Tuesday

The Icebreaker
This started off with the combination in my blog called Mix 2, but somewhere along the road I added a couple more types to The Icebreaker. I'm not sure whats going on with the colours, so check out The Details for a better representation.
