Once again, I've missed the mark on getting a quilt made for my friends baby. Even with nine months notice, I'm now a month in the hole. I spent the better part of the morning, washing, ironing and cutting out the pieces. Tomorrow I will sew.
My cousin is getting married tomorrow, and I just became versed on the traditions of a Tea Ceremony. I deperately need a red envelope, however, have no time or desire to buy a pack of a 10 or more, so I made one instead!
Today I went to the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition and came across this, I know this isn't quite quilting, nor will I ever be able to do this. But it was amazing check Lorraine Roy's site Textileart
After what seems like months, between sewing and stitch ripping, thoughts of quitting...yes thats quitting, NOT quilting...I'm finally finished.
