Another creation with a custom made thick'n thin wool, Freshly Squeezed is a radiant combination of golden yellow, orange, hot pinks and crimsom.

Yes indeed the rampage of knitting has definately slowed down. However, I do intent to knit at least a scarf a week. With a combination of five different yarns, Candied Ginger was completed a couple of weeks ago. But as you can see I haven't contributed to the blog in a few weeks.
And when I say Almost Finished, I literally mean I'd be done in 10 more minutes, but I couldn't resist taking a picture of it. This is another Noro Kuregon #115. I'm thinking of giving this one to my mom, but I'm still not sure if people actually need scarves in Australia and wool may make her itch.
Oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh, I already know I'm takeing this apart, I knew within the first five minutes of knitting it, but I became obsessed with how it was looking. I LOVE IT, however its coming out like a triangle and will only be big enough for a babushka. It'll be back, don'tcha worry!
I was a little blue to find out that this scarf is only big enough for a child. Good thing I know alot of them! That or I'll take it apart and make something else out of it, I'm not sure yet. This is what happens when you grab sad little balls of left over yarn from other projects!
Having some fun with the needles my lil' sis got me for xmas with one of favourite wool...NORO Kureyon, I'm not sure about the yellow happening on the needles at the moment, but it must be there for a reason...I'll just have to patient and see it in the end.
About a month ago I custom ordered some of my favourite thick'n thin wool, and to make up the correct length of my purchase this little bundle was included. At first I was a little put off by how this small skein didn't match the larger one but after I started knitting it up did I realize I liked this colour combo better! Sweeeeeet!!!!
Perhaps I've been inspired by St. Patricks Day this year. As you can see Paddy's Gem is knit with a green mohair, a multlicoloured kid mohair, along with a gorgeous butterfly novelty yarn, which was a gift from my sista. Infact, that gift came along with many other different colours of butterfly yarn, soon to be featured in other works!
